BREAKING: Caroline County reports first COVID-19 case

CAROLINE CO., Md – Caroline County officials are reporting the first confirmed case of COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus, in the county.

Officials say a woman in her 30s has tested positive for the virus. She was tested on March 17 and received the results on Saturday morning.

Officials say the woman had not recently traveled, but had been in contact with somebody who has. The woman is self-quaranting at home. Now, officials say they are trying to determine who the woman could have come into contact with recently.
