Berlin daycare reports positive COVID-19 case

UPDATE: The Worcester County Health Department announced at 2:17 pm on Thursday that a man in his 30s has tested positive for COVID-19 in Worcester County. They could not confirm if this person is the same person the daycare has reported earlier on Thursday. Click here for that story.


BERLIN, Md. – Bundles of Joy University notified parents about a positive case of COVID-19 on Thursday but the Worcester County Health Department has yet to publicly confirm the case.

According to a text the daycare sent out a family member of a child enrolled at the Berlin location tested positive and the case was reported to the Worcester County Health Department. The last time the child was reportedly at the daycare was on March 11th. Bundles of Joy is closing early on Thursday and will re-open after quarantine on March 30th.

The daycare also says, “tuition will continue in order to support our staff and school.” The daycare has advised any families experiencing hardship to contact the center.

47 ABC reached out to Bundles of Joy in Berlin but we have not heard back yet.
