Assateague Island National Seashore announces temporary closure

BERLIN, Md. – Assateague Island National Seashore has announced that they will close certain areas of the park until further notice as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.

Visitor centers, visitor contact/ranger station, and campgrounds will temporarily close beginning today, March 17th. However, public parking areas, trails, and the oversand vehicle zone (OSV) will remain open.
