William Severn awarded Teacher Who Makes A Difference

NEWARK, md — Congratulations are in order for our latest Teacher who makes a difference, William Severn from Worcester Technical High School.

Severn is a Biomedical Science teacher who works to make sure every one of his students gets the help they need.

Students tell us that Severn never gives up on them and makes learning hard material more fun and enjoyable.

They say he will never know how big of a role he has played in their lives.

Severn says for him this is more than just a job.

“It’s extremely fulfilling– it’s the best thing about being a teacher, it’s knowing that you can help these kids move on and be successful in life. I think that’s why I do it, I think that’s probably why most teachers do it. that lasting impact,” says Severn.
