Today’s Forecast: February 5, 2020

Tonight remains cloudy with scattered showers, but temperatures will rise from the lower 40s to upper 40s by morning as a warm front lifts back north.

Periods of rain are expected for Thursday with highs back into the 60s. A few thunderstorms are possible late. The rain continues for the first part of Friday, then some clearing is possible. Temperatures will be in the 50s. Total rainfall accumulation of 1-3 inches expected over the next few days, with isolated higher amounts.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and cooler with highs in the mid to upper 40s. A weak area of low pressure may bring us some rain early on Sunday morning, perhaps mixing with snow across northern Delmarva, but the path and strength of this system is uncertain. Right now it looks like a very weak system and we may not get much precipitation from it at all. Stay tuned. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies on Sunday with highs in the upper 40s to near 50.

Monday will be partly sunny and milder with highs in the mid and upper 50s. Scattered showers are expected on Tuesday with temperatures remaining in the 50s. A slight cool down is expected Wednesday with highs in the low 50s and chance for showers.

Have a great night!
