Today’s Forecast: February 4, 2020

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with mild temperatures in the 50s. A few showers are possible, especially as we approach dawn.

A strong backdoor cold front will slide through Wednesday morning, dropping temperatures into the 40s for most of the day. Rain showers are expected, but mainly in the morning and early afternoon. A warm front lifts back north on Thursday bumping temperatures into the low 60s, but it will be a wet day with periods of rain expected. The rain continues for the first part of Friday, then some clearing is possible. Temperatures will be in the 50s. Total rainfall accumulation of 1-3 inches expected over the next few days, with isolated higher amounts.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and cooler with highs in the mid to upper 40s. A weak area of low pressure may bring us some rain early on Sunday morning, perhaps mixing with snow across northern Delmarva, but the path and strength of this system is uncertain. Otherwise, expect partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 40s to near 50.

Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 50s. A few showers are possible on Tuesday with highs in the mid 50s.

Have a great night!
