The Harlem Globetrotters will be charging their way to the Wicomico Civic Center!
SALISBURY, Md. — Get your sneakers on because the Harlem Globetrotters are preparing to dribble their way back to Delmarva!
And here to tell us all bout their 2020 “Pushing the Limits” World Tour was the great, 6 foot 8, three time Guinness World Record holder, and fellow Harlem Globetrotter, Zeus McClurkin.
Zeus joined 47 ABC’s Erica Murphy on the desk, not to play basketball, but to tell viewers when the fun, over the top Globetrotters are coming to Salisbury.
He tells us that the Harlem Globetrotters are embarking on yet, another world tour and the will be making a stop right here in Salisbury at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
Zeus says game time is on Sunday, March 8th at 3 p.m. and he wants every on the Eastern Shore there. Just think, they play about 320 games in about 260 cities every year.
With the “Pushing the Limits” World Tour, Zeus says the Globetrotters “are looking to take everything to a whole new level.” He says they’re attempting a world record live at the game and they’re also doing glow-in-the-dark basketball at the beginning of the game. So, you don’t want to miss this one-day event.
And in Harlem Globetrotter -fashion, Erica even got to do the iconic basketball spin on her finger, of course with the help of Zeus.
