Salisbury Mayor Jake Day spreads kindness around city

SALISBURY, Md. – On Wednesday, Mayor Jake Day made his way around the city, with the goal of spreading kindness.

He started his day out at Rise Up Coffee Roasters, where he bought up to $200 worth of coffee for customers. He then went to North Salisbury School to give donuts to the front office staff and give homework passes to students. In addition, he visited Encompass Health to give roses and donuts and Toroid Corporation to give free lunch to the staff. He ended his day at a Habitat for Humanity event, where a woman was given the keys to her brand new home.
