Rams exact revenge in girls Bayside title game
SALISBURY, Md. – Parkside’s girls basketball team won the battle of the unbeaten against Easton, 48-39, Tuesday night at the Civic Center.
The game was a re-match of the 2019 Bayside championship, won by Easton in overtime.
The Rams raced out to a 9-2 lead early before Easton called timeout. The two teams exchanged blows the rest of the first half, and went into the break tied at 19.
Parkside’s defense was stifling in the third quarter, allowing just five points as the Rams jumped to an 8-point advantage going to the fourth.
Parkside led by double digits for much of the fourth quarter, but Easton’s press began to eat at the lead.

Amanda Ballard led the way with 19 points for the Rams, Holmes added 14, including four 3s, Jackie Wright had 12 points.
Myia Jeter had 18 points for Easton, Lily Osbourne dropped 9 points.
