Officials investigating thefts from grave sites in Hebron
HEBRON, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating several reports of thefts from grave sites at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
According to police, as of today’s date, more than 100 items have been recovered. It is estimated that there may be several hundred victims, and that there may be victims who are unaware of these thefts. Investigators say they are actively working to identify those responsible and charge them to the fullest extent possible.
Police are asking anyone who has had items stolen from the Springhill Memory Gardens and has not already reported it to contact Detective Clark at 410-548-4892. Any information regarding the identity of those responsible should contact the Sheriff’s Office or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.
