MSP investigating racist graffiti found in Salisbury restaurant bathroom

SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police say they are investigating after racist comments were found in a restaurant bathroom Wednesday night.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., troopers from the Salisbury Barrack responded to a bar and restaurant in the 1400 block of South Salisbury Boulevard after the business owner reported racist comments found in the women’s restroom.

Preliminary investigation indicates that multiple racist phrases were found scratched into bathroom stall doors/wall, placed so they would immediately be seen upon entering the bathroom.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the person or persons responsible is urged to contact the Salisbury Barrack at 410-749-3101.
