Laurel Middle School student honored by Del. Governor John Carney

LAUREL, Del. – A Laurel Middle School student was honored by Delaware Governor John Carney on Thursday.

Two weeks ago, sixth grader Ka’myre Snead acted fast in the lunch room when he saw a friend choking and performed the Heimlich maneuver. On Thursday, Carney presented a tribute award to the student for his life-saving actions.
