Heavy rains, wind cause damage across shore

DELMARVA – Portions of Delmarva are cleaning up this afternoon, after a line of storms caused wind damage and flooding Friday morning.

The Salisbury Zoo has closed for the day as a result of rainfall and wind damage. James M. Bennett High School in Salisbury has also dismissed for the day due to a power outage from the storm system. Delmarva Power is also reporting numerous outages across the shore.
