Heather Ferro named January Teacher who Makes a Difference
FRUITLAND, Md. – Congratulations are in order for a special second grade teacher at Fruitland Primary!
On Wednesday Ms. Heather Ferro was honored as 47 ABC’s January Teacher Who Makes a Difference.
Ms. Ferro spends every day teaching her students valuable lessons inside and outside of the classroom.
She says her hard work is worth it every day because she gets to see her students learn and grow.
“When a student is finally grasping something, that lightbulb that clicks on, it’s rewarding, and it’s just awesome to see them grow,” she said.
Ms. Ferro says she enjoys teaching because it’s something new every day and she enjoys finding creative ways to teach her students.
