Hawks pull out late victory at DSU for first road win

DOVER, De- The Maryland Eastern Shore men’s basketball team (3-19, 2-5 MEAC) pulled out an exciting 68-66 victory over Delaware State on Monday night at Memorial Hall in Dover.

Ahmad Frost led the Hawks with a team-high 15 points, including 12 in the second half. Gabriel Gyamfi hit two free-throws with 14 seconds left to put the Hawks up for good. Gyamfi finished as the only player in the game with a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds). For DSU, John Crosby finished with a game-high 19 points.

Maryland Eastern Shore is back in action on Saturday, February 8th in Baltimore, Maryland when they take on Morgan State.
