Easton Elementary School students learning about Civil Rights Movement

EASTON, Md. – Even though Black History Month is coming to a close, Easton Elementary School students are taking the time to learn more about the Civil Rights Movement.

On Friday, a panel of people who lived through the Talbot County Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s and 1960s visited fourth grade students to share their experiences. Representatives with Talbot County Public Schools say each student came prepared with questions to ask and took in all the information they were given.
