Delmarva Kids Expo offers families resources for child care

SALISBURY, Md. – On Saturday, families from across the shore came out for the 5th Annual Delmarva Kids Expo in Salisbury.

The event took place at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.

Kids got the chance to enjoy face painting, arts and crafts as well as music.

Local businesses and nonprofits also came out to raise awareness about what they have to offer to the community.

For the past few years, the expo has featured pediatricians, dentists, summer camps and more.

According to Vicky Burns, the event organizer, a portion of the proceeds collected will go towards the nonprofit HALO, which serves thousands of people in need.

Burns tells us this event also benefits dozens of businesses and nonprofits in the area.
