Del. man arrested on multiple drug charges
MILLSBORO, Del. – A Delaware man was arrested late last week after he was found in possession of drugs.
Just before 7 p.m. Friday, troopers were conducting proactive patrols in the Long Neck area, and while patrolling through the parking lot of the Sea Esta Motel, contact was made with 27-year-old Jamar Jones behind a building.
An odor of marijuana was detected, and a search of Jones’ person resulted in the recovery of 81 bags of heroin (approximately .567 grams), approximately 2.31 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 5.41 grams of synthetic marijuana, 5 suboxone pills, more than $700 in drug money, and drug paraphernalia.
Jones was arrested and charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $32,000 cash only bond.
