Decatur takes home second wrestling crown
BERLIN, Md. – Stephen Decatur High School won a state wrestling title for the second consecutive year Saturday, defeating Glenelg, 42-24.
The Seahawks got off to a slow start, dropping the 113 by decision and the 120 by pinfall. Decatur found themselves down 9-0.
Jagger Clapsadle turned the tides, majoring in the 126, starting a run of six-straight match wins for the Seahawks.
DJ Taylor clinched the win for Decatur with a 4-2 decision in the 195.
