Death investigation underway in Dover
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating the death of a 50-year-old male in Dover.
According to police, the victim was found dead inside a home on North Governor’s Avenue on Tuesday, after officers responded to the home for a psychiatric incident. The body of the deceased man was found when officers made contact with the caller.
The caller was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation.
An autopsy was conducted today, and police say homicide has been ruled out as the cause of death. Toxicology results are still pending to determine the cause of death, but foul play is not suspected. Police will not be releasing the name of the victim.
