Bennett High School heating up the stage for Rock and Roll Revival

SALISBURY, md — Bennett High School’s annual Rock and Roll revival kicks off this weekend.

The show which shows off students dance and musical skills, has been a unique component of the school since 1999.

This year organizers say they’ve planned a show that will give summer vibes even though it’s still cold outside.

They say what started out as a small talent show, has evolved into a staple event in the community.

“This is something that no other high school in the area does and I feel like it’s something that is an opportunity for students here to express themselves musically and also be in a performance that’s very large in front of hundreds of people every night,” says senior guitarist, Josh Kwak.

This year’s Rock and Roll revival theme is ‘Best Summer Ever’ and performers say this will be their best show yet.

The show runs February 7-9 then again February 13-16 in the James M Bennett High School’s Auditorium.
