Vasquez eclipses 1,000 as Lake avenges loss to Seaford

SEAFORD, De- The Lake Forest boys basketball team won their sixth straight game, knocking off Seaford 59-51 on Thursday night.

Jaysem Vasquez finished with 33 points in the game, including the 1,000th point of his career. Tyrone Tolson added 13 points for Lake. Tyrese Fortune finished with a team-high 20 points for Seaford.

Lake Forest (7-4) pulls to one game out of first place in the Henlopen South, and will visit Laurel on Tuesday. Seaford (12-3) hosts Delmar next Tuesday.
