Three arrested following seizure of drugs, firearm

DOVER, Del. – A search warrant resulted in the seizure of drugs and a handgun, and three arrests, Tuesday evening.

Dover Police and Delaware Probation and Parole executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Nob Hill Road, shortly before 9:30 p.m. 27-year-old Shyder Davis was taken into custody as he was leaving the home, prior to the warrant being executed.

Inside the home, officers found 1,301 bags of heroin, 22.9 grams of marijuana, and a loaded handgun.

24-year-old Krysta Johnson was issued a civil violation for possession of marijuana and released. 28-year-old Merrick Wright was taken into custody and found in possession of 8 doses of MDMA, and was also found to have multiple capias’ for his arrest.

Davis was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, three counts of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of heroin, and drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $97,100 cash only bond.

Wright was charged with possession of MDMA and drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a violation of probation.
