Theatre company in Rehoboth excited for a new home

REHOBOTH, Del.- A non-profit theatre company, known in the Rehoboth area, is moving to a new location.

Clear Space Theatre Company will have a new home on Rehoboth Ave where they can continue to share their artistic abilities with the community.

They said they are moving because they have outgrown their current space and they wanted a space that is their own, since they are renting a building now.

The company said that they are excited, but a little bit intimidated to take on this new project.

It took them around three or four years to decide if they wanted to move to a new location, but now that the move is becoming a reality,  the company said it is ready to embark on this new adventure.

“New theatre will allow us to enhance our productions and have more advanced sets,” Wesley Paulson, Executive Director of Clear Space Theatre Company, said. “We’re going to provide a permanent home theatre that is going to be used by us and also for other opportunities for cultural events and civic events.”

Clear Space Theatre has served the Rehoboth community for 15 years.

The company performs shows throughout the year and provides educational classes.

They said their next show, which is CLUE, will open on Jan. 24.
