Sussex Tech student wins national award

GEORGETOWN, Del. – A Sussex Tech High School student just won a national award.

Jessica Blatzheim received the 2020 Horatio Alger National Scholarship worth $25,000. We’re told she is one of 108 students around the country to win the award.

Blatzheim’s dream after going to college is to be an elementary school teacher. She also mentors a second grade student at Georgetown Elementary School every week.
