Police: Hebron Shore Stop robbery under investigation
HEBRON, Md. – Wicomico County Sheriff’s are investigating a robbery that happened at the Hebron Shore Stop Thursday evening.
According to police, shortly before 7:30 p.m., an unidentified male walked into the store, pointed a handgun at the cashier, and demanded money. The clerk was not able to open the register, and the suspect fled the store without any property or money.
Police say the suspect fled towards Memory Garden Lane, and a K-9 team came in to track the suspect’s path, however it ended a short distance from the store, indicating that the suspect most likely left in a waiting vehicle.
No one was injured in the incident. The suspect was described as a male, 5’10” to 6′ tall, skinny build, wearing dark clothing, with a black handgun.
The investigation is ongoing.
