O.C. Beach Patrol receives thank you letter

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Ocean City Beach Patrol was recently reminded that their work is important and saves lives.

Back in July, Ben Paepcke was diving into the ocean when he broke his neck and was immediately paralyzed. However, he was saved by two members of the O.C. Beach Patrol.

On Wednesday, Beach Patrol received a letter from Ben’s father, thanking them for saving his son’s life. The two men who rescued Ben also stopped by to see him and check on his recovery.
