Laurel holds steady to down Delmar

Bulldogs win 6th straight game

DELMAR, De- The Laurel Bulldogs jumped out to a 33-23 lead at the half, and never trailed in the second half to down rival Delmar 60-51 on Tuesday night.

Javier White finished with 16 points to lead Laurel in the game, with teammate Dontarious Jones registering 15. For Delmar, TJ Gibson led the game with 15 points.

The win in the sixth straight for the Bulldogs (8-2), who now walk into a huge Henlopen South showdown with undefeated Seaford on Thursday. Delmar (6-3) goes on to visit Woodbridge on Thursday.
