Goodwill bringing jobs to Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – If you’re looking for a job in Cambridge, you could soon be employed by Goodwill.

The company is opening their Cambridge location on February sixth, and the opening will bring 18 new jobs to the city.

Leaders at Goodwill say they’ve been wanting to open a location in Cambridge for nearly ten years and they’re excited to finally have a spot. But store leaders say this will bring more than just jobs to the city.

“It brings employment, it brings benefits, pride of being part of a team, pride of employment,” Rick Smith, Director of Store Planning, said.

The store will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February sixth at 9 a.m. That’s also the day they’ll start accepting donations.
