Fruitland house fire under investigation

FRUITLAND, Md. – Maryland fire officials are investigating a fire that caused significant damage to a Fruitland home early Friday morning.

Firefighters responded to the blaze at around 4:45 a.m., on Graydon Lane. The fire was placed under control in approximately one hour.

The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation. Fire damage has been estimated at $150,000.
