Fire officials investigating Westover house fire

WESTOVER, Md. – Fire marshals are actively investigating a fire that damaged a Somerset County home late Sunday night.

The fire was reported at around 10 p.m., at a home on Old Princess Anne Road in Westover. The fire was placed under control within 20 minutes, but damage has been estimated at $100,000.

The cause and origin of the fire are still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Salisbury office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.
