Drug investigation leads to three arrests in Milford
MILFORD, Del. – Milford Police arrested three people last weekend following a brief investigation into possible illegal drug activity.
On Saturday, officers received a tip regarding possible drug activity in the area of North Street. An officer contacted the vehicle in question, immediately detecting an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Further investigation led to the seizure of heroin, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana, and three men were taken into custody.
32-year-old James D. Brown of Felton was charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing later this month.
50-year-old James A. Brown was found to have arrived in another vehicle and reportedly left a 5-year-old child unattended in that vehicle as he went to sit in the vehicle he was located in. He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment next month.
34-year-old Jarrod Faison was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear for an arraignment next month.
