Dorchester Co. Sheriff’s Office receives donation to comfort children in emergency situations

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office now has a new way to comfort children in emergency situations, thanks to a generous donation from a local organization.

The Daughters of the American Revolution dropped off blankets and stuffed animals to the Sheriff’s office on Thursday. Troopers say these items will be carried by deputies to be used to provide comfort to children who may be involved in accidents or other scary situations.

The Sheriff’s Department says the donation is greatly appreciated.
