Denton teen facing firearms and alien-related charges

DENTON, Md. – An Eastern Shore teen accused of being a part of a white supremacist violent extremist group called “The Base” is facing firearms and alien-related charges.

The federal complaint involves 19-year-old William Bilbrough from Denton, as well as an Elkton, MD man and a Newark, DE man. The charges allege the three conspired to transport and harbor aliens to commit violence against minority ethnic groups. The three are also accused of attempting to make a white-ethno state, creating a military-style training camp, and discussing ways to make bombs.

Bilbrough allegedly discussed future plans with the group, helped make a controlled substance, and examined an assault rifle that the group had made.

If convicted, Bilbrough faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in federal prison.
