Central wrestling gets the huge comeback win over St. G’s to remain unbeaten
GEORGETOWN, Del.- After being down 14-6 early, Sussex Central came back and took the match 53-14. The Golden Knights move to 3-0 to start the new year.
The Hawks took an early 14-6 lead behind match wins from Nolan McHale (106), Matt Meadows (113), Alan Bolden (120) and Scott Reagan (132). In the 145’s, Jevon Saffold tied us up at 14 with the 15-0 match win. From there, the Golden Knights scored 39 unanswered match points, including two forfeits.
The Knights return to action next Wednesday when they travel to Smyrna to take on the Eagles.
