Yarns 29 lead Rams in city rivalry
SALISBURY, Md. – Marcus Yarns 29 points lifted the Parkside Rams in the Salisbury rivalry against the Bennett Clippers 79-71.
Parkside carried a double-digit lead at the break and came out of the gate firing. Jakai Spence got off to a strong start in the second half, as the defense played extra attention to Yarns.
Bennett took advantage of some errant Parkside shots to climb back in the fourth quarter trailing, by single digits. Corey Smith and Josiah Johnson came through with three-pointers late in the ball game.
But, Parkside was able to keep matching points with the Clippers and were able to secure the win.
