Wor-Wic Community College wants you to continue your adult education
SALISBURY, Md.– Wor-Wic Community College stopped by our studios for another edition of the College Corner.
The topic of discussion, continuing adult education, which is what many here on Delmarva can relate to.
47 ABC’s Erica Murphy was joined on the desk by Mrs. Denean Jones-Ward, who is the director of continued education and workforce development. She was here to us all about Wor-Wic’s adult education offerings.
Ward tells us here that Wor-Wic’s mantra is “if you can start here, you can start anywhere.” This applies to anyone who fears going back to school. She explains how many are intimidated to go back to school.
First things first, getting back to school can be hard, especially if you don’t have the means to travel far and wide. But, Wor-Wic offers classes through the county.
The next thing is the cost to attend secondary education. Well, Ward tells us that the school has free courses from a grant through the Department of Labor.
She says attending Wor-Wic Community College will be a great opportunity at extending your adult education.
