Wicomico Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Sunday morning in Salisbury.

We’re told that at around 4 a.m., deputies responded to the 600 block of S. Westover Drive for a reported shooting. The victim, identified as Samendina Gabriel, was found suffering from a gunshot wound on police arrival.

Gabriel was taken to PRMC for treatment. She was later released.
