Two arrested on drug, weapons charges in Felton

FELTON, Del. – Felton Police arrested two people early Monday morning on multiple drug and weapons charges.

At around 3:30 a.m., an officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation on Route 13, however the vehicle initially failed to stop. Eventually the vehicle pulled over, and the officer made contact with the driver, 37-year-old Christopher Gray, and the passenger, 20-year-old Margaret Howard, both of Charlottesville, VA.

An odor of marijuana was detected coming from inside the vehicle, and a subsequent search of the vehicle led to the recovery of 164.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 10.5 grams of cocaine, .224 grams of heroin, 10.6 grams of marijuana, a loaded shotgun, and a loaded handgun.

Fray was arrested on various drug possession and weapons charges. He was held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $162,502 secured bond.

Howard was also arrested on various drug possession and weapons charges and was committed to the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $161,500 bond.
