Two arrested on drug charges following traffic stop in Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. – Two people were arrested late Saturday night on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop in Salisbury.
At around 11:15 p.m., a deputy with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on Route 13 in the area of Pine Street. When the deputy approached the car, he reportedly saw a controlled dangerous substance in the passenger compartment, and a subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of heroin and crack cocaine in an amount indicative of CDS sales.
The driver, 31-year-old Kristen Joudrey, and passenger, 29-year-old Timothy Mitchell, were taken into custody.
Joudrey was charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS, heroin, and crack cocaine, possession of paraphernalia, and knowingly bringing contraband into a detention center.
Mitchell was charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of heroin, and possession of paraphernalia.
Both were held without bond.
