Salisbury traffic stop leads to heroin arrest

SALISBURY, Md. – On Tuesday, Jha’Mere Blount was arrested and charged with intent to distribute Heroin.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled a car over for an ‘equipment violation’ that was being driven by Blount.

When the deputy walked up to the car, Blount attempted to flee but was unsuccessful.

Police searched the car and found a large amount of heroin.

Blount is being charged with intent to distribute.
