Police investigating shooting in Dover

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that happened shortly before 7:00 p.m. on Saturday night.

Police say around 6:52 p.m., they responded to the area of State Circle in Capitol Park after reports of gunfire.

Police say a 31-year-old man had walked out of his home toward his car when an unknown suspect started shooting at him.

That man was not struck, but his home was struck by seven rounds and two vehicles were also hit.
