One injured in late night shooting in Dover
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating a shooting incident that left one injured late Monday night.
According to police, the incident happened shortly before 11 p.m., in the 400 block of Barrister Place. The male victim reported that he was in front of his home when he was approached by two male suspects who displayed firearms and went through the victim’s pants pockets. As the victim pulled away, one of the suspects reportedly fired two rounds, hitting the victim once in the hand and once in the thigh.
The victim was able to run to a neighbors home, who then took him to Kent General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects were described as males, wearing all black clothing, with black ski masks covering their faces.
