One charged in connection to Salisbury shooting

SALISBURY, Md. – Police have arrested one person in connection to a shooting that happened last weekend in Salisbury.

The incident happened at around 4 a.m. Sunday, in the 600 block of South Westover Drive. Further investigation revealed that the victim’s boyfriend and 24-year-old Jean Concile had gotten into an argument over another female that was at the party. A short time later, Concile pulled out a handgun and shot the victim.

The victim was taken to PRMC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Concile, who was arrested on Tuesday. He was charged with attempted first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, firearm use/felony- violent crime, handgun on person, and handgun in vehicle.
