OCPD collecting toy donations for Worcester GOLD

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Officers in Ocean City are giving back this holiday season and they need your help to do it.

The police department is collecting toys to donate to Worcester GOLD, an organization that helps families in needs.

GOLD is requesting that all toys donated be less than $40 and no electronics or jewelry.

The police department says they’re proud to be working with GOLD for the fourth year and happy to help an organization that spends their time helping others.

“They’re a great agency especially because they actually help the families in our community, last year they helped 919 families right here in Worcester County,” Ashley Miller, with the department, said.

If you want to donate a toy, you can drop an unopened toy off at the police department anytime up until December 10.
