Holiday train display at Seaford Historical Society
SEAFORD, Del. – In Seaford, people of all ages are coming out to celebrate the city’s annual holiday train display.
The train display is located at the Seaford Historical Society on High Street.
The annual event is a chance for people to enjoy all sorts of trains and Santa Clauses, owned by members of the local community in Sussex County.
The train display comes to life every Thursday through Sunday.
Members of the historical society tell us, the train display gets bigger and better, every year.
They say this event plays an important role as part of the city’s holiday celebrations.
“Each year, the village gets bigger and bigger and there are new additions to the train exhibit every year, and if you look up you will see that we have Santa Claus all away around the room,” said Beverly Hutton, president at the Seaford Historical Society.
“Those belong to a variety of people and it’s our gift to the community,” said Hutton.
The last day to visit the train display is January 12th.
Tickets are 3 dollars for adults, and it is free of charge for kids 12 and under.
