Haueisen scores 28 in overtime thriller

STEVENSVILLE, Md. – Drew Haueisen led the Decatur Seahawks to a come-from-behind, overtime road victory, 58-56 Thursday night.

Kent Island exploded for a 12-point lead in the first quarter, which expanded to 14 points at halftime.

A 15-4 third quarter put Decatur within striking distance, down just three.

Trae Bunting’s 3-pointer with seconds remaining in regulation tied the game, and eventually sent it to overtime.

Bunting hit another 3-pointers, Haueisen added three made free throws, as Decatur stunned the crowd in Stevensville.
