Fatal crash in Centreville under investigation

CENTREVILLE, Md. — The Maryland State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that resulted in one fatality early Friday morning.

According to police, just after 12 AM, a Ford Mustang was traveling westbound on MD Route 291 at Buckingham Road.

The driver of the Mustang veered off of the road for unknown reasons and flipped over several times before coming to a stop.

The driver, identified as 29-year-old Ravin Dean of Millington, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers riding with her, 20-year-old Jefferson Villatoro and 41-year-old Jose Rodrigues, both of Millington, were both sent to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by MSP helicopter and are being treated for their injuries. So far, their conditions are unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
