DSP investigating robbery in Georgetown
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that happened in Georgetown Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, at around 3:20 p.m., a 41-year-old female victim was walking on Donovans Road in the area of N. Bedford Street when she was approached by two unknown males. The men reportedly hit the victim with an unknown object, causing her to fall to the ground, and stole her purse before fleeing on foot.
The victim was treated for minor injuries at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital and was later released.
Officials say the suspects were described as males wearing all dark colored clothing.
