DSP investigating Dover home invasion

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a home invasion that happened early Thursday morning in Dover.

According to police, the incident happened shortly after midnight, at a home on Mast Circle. When troopers arrived, they met with a 21-year-old female resident and 24-year-old male resident, who reported that they were in their living room when two subjects forced entry through the front door, armed with handguns. The suspects then reportedly held the victims at gunpoint and demanded cash and firearms.

The suspects obtained two handguns and cash before fleeing the scene. The victims, along with three juveniles who were also present at the time of the incident, were not injured.

The suspects were described as males with their faces covered and armed with handguns.
